The collaboration between Alde and Timeless Composites began at the NEC in Birmingham, where Leigh Marsden, MD at Alde UK, first encountered Timeless Composites’ striking craftsmanship. Amidst a sea of luxurious yachts, the unique design and quality of Timeless Composites’ products stood out, prompting further investigation.
“I first met Piers from Timeless Composites while on a research trip at the NEC in Birmingham. Even amongst expensive yachts, the Timeless Composites product was visually striking in its craftsmanship, and I was drawn in to investigate further” says Leigh.

The initial meeting led to several in-person visits to the Timeless Composites workshop near Coventry. These interactions deepened Alde’s admiration for Timeless Composites’ commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
“Talking with Piers about his company’s values, his aspirations to help young people become craftsmen, and his passion for the product was a delight. Since that time, we have met again in person a few times at the Timeless Composites workshop near Coventry, and my admiration for the product and the company’s vision has only increased” Leigh adds.

The partnership aims to integrate Alde’s advanced heating solutions into Timeless Composites’ unique structures, such as The Cabin. Leigh further states that “it is very exciting to be working with such an innovative company, building a truly unique product to such exacting standards. I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds”.
Technical Details of Alde’s Heating Solutions
Alde’s hydronic heating system is designed to provide maximum comfort and efficiency. The system is powered by the Compact 3030 boiler, the smallest and lightest combi boiler in the world. It uses a convection heating system to heat the entire structure efficiently, from floor to ceiling.
- Efficiency: The system operates on both electricity and liquid petroleum gas (LPG), ensuring excellent efficiency and minimal pollution. The convection heating system allows warm air to rise and then travel back down once it reaches the ceiling, creating a continuous cycle of self-convection.
