A good night’s sleep is always important, but during summer it can be difficult to find the ideal temperature. If it’s too hot, you might wake up and open the windows to cool the room down, but after a few hours, the temperature will drop too far and you’ll wake up feeling cold. With our Night & Day settings, you can set the perfect temperature for different stages of the day. You can set the room to be warmer in the day and cooler at night, or vice versa.
If you want a cooler room at night, you can use a Normal Mode to set a ‘standard’ temperature for the day, and then set a cooler Night Mode to start at 9pm and end at 6am, for example. At 6am, the temperature will revert back to the Normal Mode temperature.
If you’re leaving your caravan or motorhome for a while and you want to return to a cooler vehicle, you can set a Day Mode to work in conjunction with Normal Mode and Night Mode. If you’re out and about from 10am to 3pm, for example, you can set Day Mode for those hours to maintain a cool temperature and avoid returning to a hot caravan. Outside of these hours, your chosen Normal and Night Mode temperatures will kick in at the hours you’ve programmed.
If you’re using Night and Day Mode as well as Normal Mode, it’s important to note that you should have at least an hour of Normal Mode between the Night and Day Mode periods. Otherwise, the modes will clash and they won’t work. You must also make sure the system’s clock is set correctly to ensure the settings work at the right time.
