Here's how it works

How hydronic heating works

Nothing can compete with Alde hydronic heating. An Alde boiler produces both heat and hot water.

What is needed for heating and hot water?

Warm glycol fluid retains heat for a long time and self-convection circulates the heat using the laws of nature. This provides total comfort in all parts of the vehicle, and allows the heat to spread throughout every cubic centimetre of the vehicle. The cooled glycol fluid circulates back to the boiler where it is reheated.

How self-convection works

Self-convection technology is at the heart of the hydronic heating system, based on the simple principle that hot air moves upwards. The hot fluid from the boiler circulates through pipes and convectors which then emit heat throughout the vehicle. When the heat reaches the ceiling, it returns to the floor and is reheated. The circulating air heats the furniture and walls and forms a cold barrier in front of the windows.

Hydronic heating – an unbeatable option

The Alde heating system is a water-based system, using the same principle of heating that has long been appreciated in many Scandinavian homes. • Enveloping heat and natural airflow.
  • Even heat distribution throughout the vehicle.
  • Quiet and comfortable.
  • Can run on LPG/Diesel and electricity.
  • Also produces hot water.
